Preserving Baptist History in Zambia

One hundred years ago, in December 1916, the church building in Kafulafuta was opened for public worship. Here we commemorated the 100 years of the existence of the church building in Kafulafuta and unveiled the new headstone on the grave of Pastor Paul Kasonga. It was a historic occasion!

The Kafulafuta Baptist mission was first established in 1905. Zambia, then, was a British protectorate under the supervision of the King of England—King George the Sixth.
